From fueling to charging electric and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles!
To embrace future energy and promote lower carbon vehicles, GS Caltex stations offer fuel for traditional internal combustion engine cars in addition to charging services for electric and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles.
In May of 2019, we became the first Korean oil company to offer EV charging at GS Caltex stations nationwide for enhanced customer convenience.
Fast-chargers (100kW+) reduce overall charging time, and customers can enjoy refreshments while their EVs are being washed and serviced.
We are also preparing for the upcoming era of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles with Total Energy Stations that include the Seoul metropolitan area’s first FCEV fuel filler.
Moving forward, we will continue expanding lower carbon energy services for EVs and FCEVs.

C2C Deliveries
Send delivery packages with ease from GS Caltex stations!
Service stations in cities are becoming midway logistics centers thanks to their easy accessibility. Station space is lent out to logistics start-ups to enable Customer to Customer (C2C) delivery services. This allows customers to easily send delivery packages during their regular commute without having to stop by post offices or convenience stores, while the station is able to make use of extra space.

GS Caltex stations evolve as platforms for diverse start-ups
We aim to unearth new service opportunities through continued partnerships with, and strategic investments in mobility-based start-up companies.
We invested in OWiN, a company that specializes in connected car technologies using Bluetooth, to proactively respond to the rapid growth of the connected car market that includes self-driving vehicles.
We have also invested in Cardoc, an online and mobile platform start-up to grow our customer base for auto maintenance services by expanding the service scope to overall vehicle maintenance that includes engine oil exchanges, premium car washes, and consumables exchange.
Our investment in Greencar, a leading company in the local car-sharing sector, has enabled us to provide car-sharing services from our gas stations.
In this way, we aim to stay abreast of changes in the ways that customers use mobility services as they increasingly move away from ownership towards shared vehicles and devices.
Lastly, through investments in Soft Berry that developed ‘EV Infra,’ a platform for sharing information on EV charging stations, we are actively expanding infrastructure for EV charging.
